Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipment Processing Time

Please allow 24-48 hours for order processing. Processing times do not include store closures, holidays, or transit time. Please note orders do not ship out on Sundays or holidays.

Shipping times may vary depending on the speed selected and with USPS availability in your region. 

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If your shipment experiences a significant delay, we will contact you via email or phone.

Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

Shipping rates vary depending on speed selected and weight of items—you will receive a price at checkout.

Free in-store pickup available. Under “Delivery method” during checkout, just select “Pick up”. Orders selected for in-store pickup are subject to our Abandoned Order Policy. Please review that policy for important information regarding pickup deadlines and unclaimed orders.

If your order is more urgent in nature, we suggest calling our store during open hours: 253-277-3171.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

DWC ships to addresses within the US, US Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

DWC is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the customer’s responsibility (including tariffs, taxes, and other costs).

Damages

DWC is not liable for products damaged or lost during shipping. If your order arrives damaged, please retain all packaging materials and damaged goods and file a claim directly with the shipping carrier.

Customers are responsible for initiating and managing any claims related to shipping damage, loss, or carrier mishandling.

International Shipping Policy

International shipping availability may vary by destination and is subject to change. Customers are responsible for any applicable duties, taxes, customs fees, or import charges imposed by their country depending on destination, the value of the shipment, trade agreements, and treaties.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses and Refused Delivery

We make every attempt to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to ensure it’s recognized as a valid address by the USPS. If we cannot validate the address, we will try to contact the customer to provide an updated address. If we cannot update the address, the order will be canceled and refunded.

DWC will not be held responsible if the customer provides the wrong shipping address and we cannot recover the package.

Missing or Stolen Shipments

If you didn’t receive your order, but the shipping carrier has reported that it was delivered, please contact us within 14 days of the marked delivery date:

Shipping Carriers

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery times are outside of Dancewear Center's control and may be affected by weather, carrier delays, holidays, or other unforeseen circumstances.
